A pregnant woman has been brutally beaten by her husband
It is alleged that Lebowakgomo police in Capricorn District arrested a man who beat and assaulted his 36-year-old wife with a hot iron at Seleteng Ga-Mphahlele in Limpopo province
According to the report, they had an argument over the phone before the assault. It is further said that, the angry and jealous husband plugged the iron and assault her bitterly without mercy. The victim was then taken to hospital after sustained severe injuries on her body.
Police were called, and a case of Assault GBH was opened against the suspect. The man was arrested at Ga Mphahlele Makurung.
He will appear before Thabamoopo Magistrate's Court tomorrow. The Police investigations are still ongoing.
