Eskom Board Chairperson Mpho Makwana has resigned
No reason has been given, regarding the decision to resign another senior Eskom official. Yesterday, state enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan announced that the power company's board chairperson, Mpho Makwana, would resign at the next general meeting, scheduled for later this month. Eskom has yet to announce a permanent chief executive, following the resignation of Andre de Ruyter, in December last year.
