Police in Vhembe district have arrested a man for possession of a firearm and unlicensed firearms.
Limpopo police are continuing to crack down on crime through operation Shanela. The suspect was arrested yesterday afternoon, after his vehicle was pulled over on the R524 near Makhado crossing mall by Makhado police. The vehicle was searched and five firearms were found in the car. Investigation indicates the suspect was arrested on charges of money laundering, murder, auto theft, burglary, and possession of unlicensed firearms. The suspect is expected to appear in court on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, to face a background charge of possession of unlicensed firearms.
