Taxi Owner and his two bodyguards were shot and killed at delmas
It is alleged that three people including the taxi boss were fataly shot at Rakwena Street, Botleng in Delmas over the weekend. And it is also believed to be a drive-shooting. During the shoot out a woman was also shot and was rushed to hospital for better treatment after sustaining serious injuries.
According to the police report, the owner of the taxi was driving in his car escourted by his two bodyguards, when unknown armed men approaches them from a car which was driving on the opposite direction. when they come close they began to open fire on the two vehicles and fatally wounded the victims.
The motive of the shooting is still unknown, and the police investigations are under way. The Provincial Commissioner General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela gave orders of arrest for those perpetrators. She also vehemently codemned the incisdent.
