Three men have been sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering a couple
The Mtubatuba High Court in KwaZulu-Natal has sentenced three men to six counts of combined life imprisonment for the murder of a couple. Philina Mthethwa, Velenkosini Gumede and Shabalakhe Mzobe were convicted of shooting and killing Mfaniseni Gumede and his wife,Joyce, during a burglary. The court heard that the trio, fled with the deceased's two guns. Police spokesperson, Thenjiswa Ngcobo, said she accept the punishment.
