Famous gospel singer buried in Limpopo
Patience was the successful gospel singer in South Africa, may her soul rest in peace.
Worship House member and award-winning gospel singer Funi Khavhandwele Mbedzi, 42, was laid to rest in a sad and emotional send off at Kumbvi on the outskirts of Thohoyandou. Fungi was shot dead in church by her husband.
They allegedly introduced her as successful and talented singer who was part of the Worship House Singer Project 2 gospel group.
Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba has condemned violence and killings against women and children.
The funeral was attended by Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, Deputy Minister in the Presidency Pinky Kekana, MEC for Health Dr Phophi Ramathuba, MEC for Social Development Nandi Ndalane, Executive Mayor of Vhembe, Cllr Nkondo, Deputy Speaker of the Limpopo Legislative Assembly Tshitireke Mathiva and ANC Limpopo Provincial Secretary Reuben Madadze.
