A woman stabbed and strangled to death by her boyfriend
It is alleged that a woman has been killed by her partner, during a domestic violence incident. The 40-year old woman was stabbed and strangled by her boyfriend.
The reason behind the killing is currently unknown. The man fled the scene after the death of the lady.
Brigadier David Mbongeni Ngcobo, the station commander of the Ivory Park SAPS, appeals to anyone at the receiving end of GBV to get out as soon as the threats start.
"Domestic violence related killings start with threats, before they cascade into killings. Our wish is that any of the spouse who gets abused, however small, should get out before they pay with their own lives," said Brigadier Ngcobo.
