Limpopo health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba will be officially opening and sharing the newly upgraded children's floor at FH Odendaal Hospital

Limpopo Health MEC Dr.  Phophi Ramathuba will be opening and handing over the newly refurbished children’s floor at FH Odendaal Hospital in Modimolle Local Municipality, Waterberg District which will culminate in the final completion of this complex health unit  mothers and children as committed in the previous financial year.  Dr Phophi will also show support for medical and dental professionals participating in the Waterburg Rural Health Matters outreach program, which takes place until April 21, 2024.

 The opening of the children’s ward at FH Odendaal Hospital in fulfillment of the commitment made by the MEC to prioritize maternal and child health.  The MEC previously announced in a budget vote that the north wing of the maternity unit and pediatric ward at FH Odendaal Hospital would be completed and handed over before the end of April.

"We are truly grateful, and extremely excited to see the opening of the newly refurbished nursery, ensuring that the lives of children and women remain safe. This will largely provide quality care, support,  and resources to help children recover quickly and safely. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to providing excellent infrastructure, "  to ensure efficient delivery of healthcare services," said MEC Ramathuba.
