Limpopo Provincial Commissioner launched manhunt for suspects after a massive shooting that left four dead and seven others wounded in Moletlane

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, arranged a manhunt to search for the unknown suspects after a shooting incident in which four people were fatally shot and seven others wounded  in a broad daylight.

 According to the police report, the mass shooting happened yesterday at 05:00 at Moletlane cross roads near the local taxi rank. Police said, the suspect who were traveling with BMW and a black Mercedes Benz fired several gunshots towards taxi rank before fleeing the scene. 
Two taxi drivers, one passenger and a motorists died during the shooting. Four other passengers were taken to hospital for medical treatment. 


During the incident police found that five taxis and a bakkie were damaged as a result of the shooting. Furthermore, several spent assault rifle and pistol cartridges were recovered on the scene.

Anyone with information pertaining to the incident is urged to come forward and assist the police in their investigation. All information provided will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
