Lucas Mmolayeng Mkhondo is asking the government to build him an RDP house

A man from Ga-Manoke village just outside Burgersfort town, Lucas Mmolayeng Mkhondo (50), better known as the "chief" in his village, is appealing to government to build him an RDP house like all the people for whom the houses were built. Lucas says he prays day and night for the local government to hear his cry and change the situation he faces in the shack he lives in. The shack have holes and he suffered from rain and wind
Mkhondo said he tried several times to register for an RDP house, but was it unsuccessful even though those who registered the RDP houses at the same time with him got them. In 2017, the shack in which Mkhondo lives, caught fire and all his belongings were destroyed, including his identity document.
However, Mkhondo said before his identity document was destroyed by fire, but he had already registered for the RDP House, but he never got it.
