Since 2002 Mantombazana reduces teenage pregnancy and keep children off the streets 

Mantombzana is a non profit organization that started on 02 February 2002, and the Organization has the Zulu name which means 'girls', the Organization was started in an honor of women and their values in the society. The aim of the organization is to reduce the number of teenage pregnancies, and teenagers engaging in drugs and substance abuse. We help them by hosting tournaments, and educate them about drugs and teenage pregancy.

The primary objectives of the school tournaments are:
Educating teenage girls and boys about the dangers of engaging in unprotected sex, which results in an early and unwanted pregnancies and educating them about the negative consenquenses of drug abuse.

Our vision as Mamtombazana organization is to expand the beyond Musina, and abroad. And considering that teenage pregnancy and drug abuse is a global concern. we would like to host tournaments that includes participants outside Musina regions and establishing offices all over the country. Our plan is to help the teenagers in need to achieve their goals.

The value of soccer for children is to keep them physical active which is a great way to excercise and keep them healthy. It is also distraction so that they do not engage in substance abuse or unprotected sex which leads to teenage pregnancy their spare time.

We host soccer tournaments , visits schools and educate learners about teenage pregnancy and drug abuse. We also educate them about opportunities they have to secure a better future.

We are planning to extend the activities, we offer to get the teenagers off the street, the soccer tournament requires the participants to practice regurlaly and this ensure that they spend their time preparing for school soccer tournaments and not roaming aound on the streets. As well all know that when you host a tournament it's needs children to go and participate and when they are participating we are taking their time off the streets and focus on the tournament.

This year tournament will be starting in July, it will be hosted at Musina in Vhembe district. It is going to be hosted for the third time this year. This is how Mantombazana Organization is going to help children. Mamtombazana will be the organization where all mothers, children or everyone who got problems with teenage pregnancy, or substance abuse to come to us, and they must feel at home when they come to Mantombazana for help and ask us how can we help them.
