The police in Senwabarwana policing precinct have launched a manhunt for two unknown armed suspects involved in a carjacking incident that took place at Bochum Extension 5 yesterday at 20:30.
The police in Senwabarwana policing precinct have launched a manhunt for two unknown armed suspects involved in a carjacking incident that took place at Bochum Extension 5 yesterday at 20:30.
A 60-year-old man driving a Toyota Hilux bakkie had just arrived home and when he opened the gate, two armed men emerged from nowhere and pointed him with firearms. They tied him up, forced him into his vehicle. The suspects thereafter, drove off to a secluded area where they robbed the victim of an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspects left the victim stranded and drove off with his vehicle. The vehicle is black in colour, with registration number DZV 059 L.
