Rural schools has poor education system in South Africa, because they lack services from the government and society at large.  Such as lack of parental support in learner’s education, insufficient funding from the state, and lack of resources, such as computer labs, libraries and education services. And schools are full of underqualified teachers who only teach for a wage. They don't have love for teaching.
Poverty also plays a big role because parents are unable to buy educational materials for their children.

After 25 years in South African democracy Rural Schools have not received services and development.  Local government is also failing to improve the educational standards of rural schools. Where we see under qualified teachers and parents with Money taking their children to expensive Schools.  You will find many learners sitting in the same room. Classrooms are crowded with broken doors.

Teachers are also in trouble because the government does not care about them.  Some teachers teach children willingly.  Some fail to teach children pure English.

Many rural schools do not have water, sanitation, electricity and classrooms are in a terrible state.  These issues have serious implications for effective teaching and learning
