A father allegedly killed his son for eating a large sausage in Himeville in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal
It is alleged that a 39-year-old man Bhekinkosi Mchunu killed his 22-year-old son Ntando Mchunu for eating his big boerewors, after coming at home drunk.
The neighbors said, Ntando took the big sausage from the fridge and fried it. When Bhekinkosi came back from work, he found his son eating a big chunk of wors, then a fight started and the father beat the son with a weapon and he died at the scene.
Neighbors say this was the most brutal killing of a person killed for food.
People have never seen something like that. Ntando was badly injured and he had a big scar in his forehead that looked like an iron rod was used, It was traumatic.
The father was arrested and he will appear at the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
