It is alleged:

The Electoral Commission (IEC) has announced that former president Jacob Zuma will not be able to go to parliament as he has been removed from the list of candidates.

This means that Zuma will not be allowed to run for a position in Parliament due to his criminal record.

Mosotho Moepya, who is the chairperson of the IEC, told Zuma's uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party that Zuma is ineligible to compete for a seat in Parliament.

He was one of eight candidates who faced objections.
