SAPS Tembisa is investigating a fraud case and appeals to the public for assistance

PARKTOWN - Tuesday, 22 August: SAPS Tembisa is investigating a fraud case and appeals to the public for assistance in locating two men who might assist with the investigation.

According to a preliminary report it is alleged that on 14 November 2022 the victim in this case went to an ATM in Tembisa to withdraw money when the machine retained her bank card.

While the victim tried blocking her card she allegedly started receiving bank notifications for purchases around Tembisa and Kempton Park; the victim was defrauded to the amount of R15 000-00.

It is believed that the two men depicted in the photographs can assist with the investigation.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts may contact Detective Sergeant Stanley Mothapo on 011 920 8000, SAPS Crime Stop on 0800 10111 or alternatively leave an anonymous tip-off on the MySAPS App.
